Privacy Policy

What we collect when you order, why we keep it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.

1. Who is responsible

Qamar Alnajah Audio-Visual, Recording Equipment & Accessories Trading L.L.C S.O.C is the controller of the personal data described here. We handle it under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and, where it applies, the consumer protection rules in Federal Law No. 15 of 2020.

2. What we collect

• Order details: your name, phone number, email address, emirate, area or building, the services you ordered, and any notes you write about the job.
• Order record: an order reference, the totals, the time of the order, and the payment method (cash).
• Licence records: when you buy software, the product, term, licence key and the email address the key was issued to.
• Technical data: IP address and browser user agent, recorded with the order to help detect fraud and abuse.
• Cart data: what you add to the cart is stored in your own browser (local storage), not on our server, until you place an order.

We do not ask for, and do not store, card numbers, CVCs or bank credentials.

3. Why we use it

• To confirm the order, agree scope and timing, and carry out the service.
• To issue a tax invoice and keep the accounting records UAE VAT law requires.
• To answer questions, handle cancellations and refunds, and resolve disputes.
• To keep the site and the ordering process secure.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Payment information

Payment is cash on delivery or on collection. No card details are entered on this site. If card payment is enabled in the future, it will be processed by a regulated payment provider (Stripe) on their own pages; we would receive the payment result and the billing details needed for the invoice, not your card number.

5. Who we share it with

• Our hosting provider, which stores the site and the order files.
• Our email provider, which delivers order confirmations and invoices.
• The software publisher, where a licence key has to be issued on their system — the email address on the order only.
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site and receives your IP address when the page loads.
• Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

6. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It stores your cart in your browser’s local storage so the contents survive a page reload. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings, or by removing the items in the cart.

7. How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for five years, which is the period UAE VAT record-keeping rules require. Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted when they are no longer needed. Cart data stays in your browser until you clear it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to: confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it (where the tax retention rule does not require us to keep it), restrict how it is used, or stop using it for a particular purpose. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

9. Security

Order files are stored outside the public web root and are readable only by the hosting account. Access to them is limited to the people who need it to run the order. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold to what an order actually needs.

10. Children

Our services are sold to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and carries a new “last updated” date.
